Serge Hazanov, 1951 in Moskau geboren, Schriftsteller, Dichter und Journalist, lebt seit 1989 in der Schweiz. Nach seinem Studium an der Lomonossow-Universität in Moskau begann er zu schreiben und veröffentlichte Romane, Theaterstücke sowie Hunderte von Gedichten und Artikeln in verschiedenen russischen Publikationen, darunter die satirische Zeitung Krokodil. 1989 ging Serge Hazanov ins Exil in die Schweiz, wo ihm politisches Asyl gewährt wurde. Im Jahr 2022 und 2023 war er Preisträger der internationalen Poesiewettbewerbe «Ruhm der russischen Sprache» und «Mein Russland». 2023 erhielt er eine lobende Erwähnung am International Human Rights Art Festival.

These poems witness the author’s wanderings and hesitations, his meetings and departures, friendships and betrayals. They helped him to express his admiration of this «the best of the worlds» and certainly to protect himself against it. These lines helped the author to survive. This is a fiction that witnesses about his life better, than biographical facts. A confession that should not be trusted. Reader, believe this poetry.
